Texarkana Baptist Children's Home works in partnership with caring people everywhere. We depend on them to identify deteriorating homes in their communities and refer children to us before they are forcibly removed from their sad environment by state authorities. Readers may be a true partner to this ministry and to the invaluable lives of needful children by contacting us with information about children who need a safe, Christian environment with all of its amenities. Typically, such children are brought to the Home for a personal visit and evaluation to be sure each one wants to live here. Then, admission forms are completed and necessary steps taken to make this their home until they reach the age of majority or until a relative prepares a suitable home for them and petitions for change of custody.
